HAO FU, a restaurant inspired by the Chinese restaurants of the 1940s-1960s.
The neon was especially hard, but I think paid off quite well. I could not
ask for a better ceiling texture. I found it on Blenderkit. Do not ask me what Hao Fu
means, because I completely forgot what I was trying to do here.
More neon work, this time for a replica of the mall arcade "Tilt." The sign was traced from
photographs taken of the arcade.
A room set in 1984, East Germany.
A fictional 1990's video rental store on its last legs.
A study of a pinball backglass, using the original
light mask from a photograph of the back. The light
passes through the glass exactly as it would
in real life, no emission techniques on the glass itself were used.
The score drums are also controlled with drivers, type any
number into the geometry nodes and it'll automatically
rotate the drums accordingly.
